Jewish Power files petition to disqualify Ra'am from elections: 'A wolf in sheep's clothing'

|
Jewish Power has submitted a petition to the Central Elections Committee to disqualify Ra'am and Mansour Abbas from running in the elections. Party chairman Itamar Ben-Gvir stated that "the wolf in sheep's clothing must be removed from the Israeli Knesset. Mansour Abbas and his associates are Hamas-supporting terrorists." The 39-page petition claims that Ra'am denies Israel's existence as a Jewish state and supports the armed struggle of enemy states and terrorist organizations against it. The party's statement noted that the petition includes "a report from the Registrar of Non-Profits regarding the 'Aid 48' association, which is linked to the party, detailing money transfers and collaborations with terrorist entities."
