Federal authorities in the US announced they successfully thwarted a terror attack over the weekend. Fox News reported that four suspects were arrested for planning an attack on New Year's Eve in Los Angeles. According to the report, the suspects are members of an extreme pro-Palestinian movement. The FBI noted that the suspects identified themselves as members of a radical branch of the Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF), and that they planned to attack five different locations across Los Angeles during New Year's Eve.
