IDF Chief in Bat Yam: 'When home front's resilience is strong - we have the confidence to continue operating'

|
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir visited the site of the missile strike in Bat Yam today, where he held a situation assessment with Home Front Command chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo, Dan District Commander Col. Shani Gershie, regional commanders and Mayor Tzvika Brot. "We are fighting a war here where we have no choice - and it is being conducted in all dimensions," said the Chief of Staff. "Right now, 1,500 km from Israel, our forces are intercepting ballistic missiles, UAVs, and our fighter jets are there - it's an incredible operation. But your part is no less important. When there's a strike, you arrive, rescue and provide security to people."
