Iranian President: 'They demand we give up our nuclear capabilities - we will not surrender to dictations'

|
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian addressed the nuclear talks with the US, saying: "Our enemies are trying to ignite internal conflicts to attack us, and through our unity we will thwart their efforts." According to him, "We are in contact with the US and Europe and will not surrender to dictations. No one has the right to prevent us from conducting scientific research in the nuclear field. They demand that we give up our capabilities so that Israel can drop bombs on our heads. We do not aspire to produce nuclear weapons." Pezeshkian's remarks came as the US simultaneously announced the evacuation of embassies in the Middle East.
