Gal Hirsch to Hostages' Families: 'Talks Face Difficulties and Obstacles'

|
Hostages and Missing Persons Coordinator Gal Hirsch informed the families of the hostages that 'immediately after Idan Alexander's release from Hamas captivity, the negotiating team was instructed to depart for talks in Doha, and upon landing began conducting contacts for a deal through mediators. The rounds of talks are encountering difficulties and obstacles, but efforts to exhaust every chance of returning the hostages continue through various channels alongside the fighting in Gaza.' Hirsch emphasized that 'every negotiation, including within the Wennesland framework, always deals with ways to return all our hostages, both living and deceased. No date has been set yet for the team's return to Israel.'
