Israel Police Commissioner Insp. Gen. Danny Levy addressed the need for additional budgets for the organization at the opening of a meeting that dealt with the events of October 7. The commissioner also conveyed a message to the National Security Ministry headed by Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir: "I say clearly, in order to implement in the best way the lessons learned from the October 7 investigations, the police need budgets. I tell the citizens of Israel that everything will be done to obtain the required budgets, which will enable us to provide them with the best service, as they deserve."
