Tamar Haberfeld, 12, from Haifa is the Israeli who was killed overnight when a bus rolled down a slope at a ski resort in the Savoie department in the French Alps. Tamar was on a trip with her father and her twin sister Hadas, who was also injured. Their mother Shirel remained in Haifa. She told Ynet in anguish that her daughter Hadas did not initially understand what happened: "Now she knows her sister is in heaven. That's how she wrote it to me."
