Indictment: Tel Aviv psychologist Yosef Hananal provided unlicensed evaluations, forged signatures

The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment at the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court against Yosef Hananal (73) from Tel Aviv, a psychologist registered in the psychologists' registry but without a specialist degree, for conducting 131 psychological evaluations without authorization, forging signatures of expert psychologists, obtaining items by fraud and tax offenses. According to the indictment, Hananal presented to patients, parents and state authorities a false representation that he was authorized to conduct psychological evaluations and that the evaluations he performed met legal requirements. This, despite not being an expert psychologist, not being in an active specialization process and not being authorized to conduct the evaluations or sign them.
