Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed in Abu Dhabi as part of a state visit. According to a Qatari report, the meeting dealt, among other things, with developments in the Middle East. It was previously reported in Doha that al-Sisi also met in Qatar with Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
