Ben-Gvir responds to police chief: 'No appointments before elections – except exceptional cases'

|
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded to police appointments that Police Commissioner Danny Levy is carrying out despite his directive to freeze them. The minister wrote that "following reports about recommendations for appointments in the police, and as the minister announced earlier today – there will be no appointments before the elections – except in exceptional cases. Approval of exceptional cases will be discussed individually by the minister – after the commissioner presents justifications. All other appointments will be gladly discussed after the elections."
