Chief Military Prosecutor Yifat Tomer Yerushalmi is leaving the IDF and submitted her resignation letter to IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir during a meeting held within the last hour. Earlier, Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that he does not intend to allow her to remain in her position after she took leave following suspicions and her possible involvement in the Sde Teiman affair. An IDF spokesperson stated that "the Chief of Staff is confident that a thorough investigation will be conducted to uncover the truth."
