Indictment: Ashkelon Resident Infected Computers With Malware Since 2020, Recorded Minors in the Nude

The Prosecutor's Office filed an indictment against a 44-year-old Ashkelon resident who infected hundreds of computers in dozens of companies in the economy and private sector since 2020. According to the indictment, he took thousands of screenshots and screen recordings; took control of computer cameras and listening capabilities; recorded videos of victims at the workplace and in their private homes; downloaded files; exported passwords; exported credit card details and more. The defendant also recorded minors in the nude. The total cumulative economic damage to companies stands at more than two million shekels.
