Cyber Authority: Iran recently attacked over 10 entities in Israel, including Assaf Harofeh Hospital

The National Cyber Authority announced a wave of Iranian cyberattacks on companies and essential organizations in Israel in recent weeks, including companies providing computing services to many businesses in the economy. More than ten private companies were subject to some level of attack recently, most of them attacked through their connections to digital service companies for business entities, which constitute a link in supply chains. Among the organizations affected in the wave of attacks was also Shamir Assaf Harofeh Hospital, where attackers attempted to disrupt operations. The investigation revealed that in many attacks, the perpetrators exploited stolen or leaked usernames and passwords to infiltrate systems.
