The rate of technical malfunctions on flights of India's airline Air India stood at 23 throughout January. This was reported by Reuters news agency based on documents it obtained. Last year 260 people were killed in a crash of the airline's plane. According to the documents, the company recorded an average of one malfunction per thousand flights — four times the average in December 2024 (which stood at 0.24 malfunctions per thousand flights).
