Hostage families' headquarters against Strook: 'Gambling with hostages' fate and normalizing their captivity'

Lihia Gordon|
The headquarters of the families of the hostages responded to Minister Orit Strook's statement that "efforts should be made to prevent harm to hostages, but that might be the outcome," saying: "Strook is leading to the sacrifice of the hostages and with them the values upon which the State of Israel was built." The headquarters further stated that "All in the name of a purposeless and illogical endless war - a war that must end for the sake of the entire people of Israel. Strook is gambling with the hostages' fate and normalizing their captivity. This is not surprising coming from someone who has consistently been a stubborn obstacle to rescuing the hostages."
