The headquarters further stated that "All in the name of a purposeless and illogical endless war - a war that must end for the sake of the entire people of Israel. Strook is gambling with the hostages' fate and normalizing their captivity. This is not surprising coming from someone who has consistently been a stubborn obstacle to rescuing the hostages."
