Israel to Release 5 Prisoners to Lebanon

|
Israel will release five Lebanese prisoners back to the neighboring country today as a political gesture as part of negotiations with the local government. Arab media outlets published the name of one of the prisoners - Malek Kamal Ghazi, who according to a Saudi report will soon be transferred 'as a gesture of goodwill' back to Lebanon through the Naqoura crossing. In October 2025, Lebanese media reported the disappearance of Ghazi - about 20 years old - in the Ain Ata area north of Mount Hermon. According to reports at the time, he went out for training in the area near the town - and contact with him has been lost since then.
