The IDF announced that "as part of the American initiative, the establishment of distribution centers operated by international aid organizations under the security of the American civilian security company in the Gaza Strip has been completed." According to the IDF spokesperson, as part of the gradual opening of distribution centers, two out of four established centers have begun operating to distribute food packages to thousands of families in Gaza. The two centers are operating in Tel Sultan and along the Morag axis in Rafah.
