Opposition leader Yair Lapid addressed a Yesh Atid party conference, saying that "if Netanyahu's coalition wins elections again, it will be the end of Zionism. The state will disintegrate." According to him, "we are here because this is the last opportunity to save the country. The change needs to happen now. If we don't save the country now, in two years there will be nothing left to save. The window of opportunity will close." He added that "we need to pass a constitution, train thousands of good teachers, now we need to fight corruption and protect the police and the courts."
