Senior Hamas security official: Organization lost 80% of control over Gaza Strip

|
A senior official in Hamas's security forces told the BBC that the terrorist organization has lost about 80% of its control over the Gaza Strip and that armed clans have taken their place. According to him, Hamas's command and control system collapsed due to months of Israeli strikes that hit the organization's leadership. The senior official shared with the BBC that during the last ceasefire, Hamas tried to reorganize its leadership, but since then Israel has destroyed the remaining command structure in Hamas, leaving it in disarray.
