Before his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio at Blair House, the president's official guest house in Washington. The Prime Minister's Office reported this, adding that the two first held an expanded meeting, followed by a one-on-one meeting. "We held a substantive and important conversation about strengthening the alliance between Israel and the United States and about our shared challenges in the regional and international arena," Netanyahu said after the meeting. The Prime Minister's Office also reported that earlier Netanyahu also met with Trump's Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff.
