A whale shark approximately 16 feet long was spotted in the past hour in the Gulf of Eilat, the Eilat municipality reported. According to the statement, the shark was identified by municipal lifeguards on the northern beach, who went out on a kayak to the open sea to confirm it was a whale shark, which is not dangerous to humans.
