A Cabinet source told Ynet that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu decided to be flexible once again on the issue of IDF withdrawal maps from the Gaza Strip for a hostage deal.
The source estimated that "this brings us very close to a deal," and claimed that an agreement with Hamas could be reached "soon." Meanwhile, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir held a situation assessment in the Gaza Strip where he said: "We will know in the coming days whether we have a deal or not."
