Ben-Gvir on Oct. 7 failure: 'Netanyahu not blameless, but others more guilty than him'

|
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir gave an interview in English to foreign media for the first time in four years. In an interview with Time magazine, he said he had previously supported the expulsion of all Arabs from Israel. "Now I think there can be a few (here). I accept that there are Arabs living here," he clarified. He later said that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu bears some responsibility for the October 7 failure: "Even if he's not perfect, and even if he made mistakes—and he did—what brought him down was intelligence. Netanyahu is not blameless, but there are many people more guilty than him."
