France: Over 400 arrested in Paris Saint-Germain Champions League victory celebrations

At least 416 people were arrested in France following riots that erupted during Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League victory celebrations, 283 of them in the capital Paris. French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau reported that seven police officers were injured, one of them seriously in the city of Agen. According to Paris police, approximately 20,000 fans gathered on the Champs-Élysées after the penalty shootout victory over Arsenal in the final, and some of them lit flares, vandalized shops and set fires. Clashes also broke out near the Parc des Princes stadium, where about 150 fans attempted to break in and were repelled by police forces.
