Lt. Col. (res.) Oren Shvil, a leading figure in the Brothers in Arms protest movement, criticized the IDF's enforcement policy regarding ultra-Orthodox conscription during a demonstration at Habima Square. He addressed IDF Personnel Directorate Chief Maj. Gen. Dado Bar Kalifa: 'How will you look in the eyes of a young man from Modi'in who's been in Gaza for 200 days, while his neighbor in Modi'in Illit hasn't even received a draft notice?' Shvil added: 'Don't give in to the government's draft evasion scheme. There's only one way to resolve this - issue all 80,000 draft notices, recruit fighters, and ensure enforcement.'
