President Isaac Herzog said at a youth program conference of the Jerusalem Public Diplomacy Headquarters that 'our brothers and sisters, our hostages, are now in tunnels in Gaza. At every moment and every day, from everywhere, we call and cry out: bring them home now. This is our highest priority.' Herzog added: 'We are at a very fragile moment where difficult negotiations are taking place on one side, while on the other side we are taking additional military steps to bring back our hostages.'
