The Mamlachti Party faction held a meeting where they presented their public partnership framework ('Moving Up a Level'), which included a historic decision to hold primaries for party leadership - where Gadi Eisenkot and Benny Gantz are expected to compete. 'As part of the first phase of the process, it was decided that in the coming months the party will open its ranks for public membership, and the party assembly will be renewed and significantly expanded,' the party announced. The statement also noted that 'elections for party leadership will be held within the framework of the new assembly, and members of the party's audit committee and additional internal institutions will be reappointed.'
