British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband emphasized in his statement on sanctions to be imposed against the settlements that his country "will support trade within the Green Line in Israel." However, he added that London will impose additional sanctions on extremist settlers and that it will now refuse all license requests for the export of weapons and other items "that materially contribute to the occupation." Miliband also noted that Britain "will continue to judge the Israeli government by its actions."
