Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf returned to Iran after completing a visit to Qatar focused on advancing an agreement to end the war with the United States. Qalibaf heads Iran's negotiating team and traveled to Doha alongside Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and the governor of Iran's Central Bank. According to reports, the sides discussed, among other things, the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the enriched uranium issue and the unfreezing of frozen Iranian assets.
