The Trump administration has halted the issuance of visas to Palestinian passport holders, including those seeking to enter the U.S. for medical treatments, university studies or family visits. This was reported by the New York Times, which added that the cancellation joins the American decision not to grant visas to senior Palestinian officials, led by Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen, which could prevent his speech at the UN General Assembly next month. According to four American sources quoted in the newspaper, Palestinians will not be able to receive visas in various categories - including those intended for business travel.
