Police arrested four suspects during the Druze protest on Route 6 near Elyakim interchange: two on suspicion of assaulting a 17-year-old boy and two others on suspicion of disturbing the peace. A police statement said that "during the dispersal of the protest, several youths were identified beating another youth lying on the ground at the side of the road. According to medical sources, he was evacuated for medical treatment with minor injuries." The circumstances of the incident and the background to the outbreak of violence are under investigation.
