Police yesterday arrested a man who was caught on camera attempting to abduct a young girl in a crosswalk in Petah Tikva. After being apprehended, he was transferred for psychiatric evaluation, where he attacked the medical staff and was arrested a second time. The suspect was filmed grabbing the girl from behind and lifting her while attempting to flee the scene. Civilians who witnessed the incident called police to the scene, who arrested the suspect and confirmed the girl was unharmed. Later, the suspect was sent for psychiatric evaluation, where he attacked the medical staff and was therefore arrested again. He was arrested and sent to a hospital.
