The Syrian Foreign Ministry stated it "has not yet been able to verify reports of launches toward Israel," according to the Syrian state news agency. Following the launches toward the Golan, which an unidentified organization claimed responsibility for, the ministry added that "Syria will not pose a threat to any party in the region. The Israeli strike in Daraa caused significant loss of life and damage." The ministry further stated: "We believe there are many parties that might try to undermine stability in the region to advance their interests."
