The Health Ministry reported that two people were exposed to a rabid jackal in the village of Tayibe a-Zu'abiya in the Jezreel Valley. They were referred for preventive treatment against rabies, and the epidemiological investigation is ongoing. The Health Ministry is calling on anyone who had contact, or whose animals had contact, in the incident area with the infected jackal or with a stray animal, between October 22-8, to urgently contact the Afula Health Bureau or the health bureau nearest to their place of residence.
