Last Thursday, IDF forces under Southern Command, with Shin Bet intelligence, struck and eliminated a Hamas terror cell that was planning to carry out terror attacks against forces operating in the central Gaza Strip. The IDF Spokesperson announced that "it can now be confirmed that the strike eliminated the terrorist Hazem Rami Ali Aidi, a Hamas cell commander who infiltrated Israeli territory during the Oct. 7 massacre; the terrorist Ibrahim Mansour, a department commander who led numerous terror attacks against IDF forces throughout the fighting and was a central figure in Hamas' force building and recovery attempts, while violating the ceasefire agreement; and the terrorist Maher Tantawi, a terrorist in Hamas' military intelligence unit."
