Police have summoned dozens of soccer players, including from the Premier League, for questioning and testimony in connection with a fraud scheme involving illegal National Insurance payments. This morning, police raided the homes of several individuals, including a doctor, lawyers and a National Insurance Institute employee, suspected of facilitating the illegal transfers.
