Police have closed Route 40 from Tzihor Junction to Mitzpe Ramon in both directions due to stormy weather and concerns over flash floods in Negev streams. Police emphasized that drivers must not cross flooded roads or water flows, even in off-road vehicles. Starting at 12:00 PM, the following roads are expected to be closed to traffic in both directions: Route 90 from Neve Zohar Junction, through Arava Junction to Eilat; Route 12 from Eilat to Neot Smadar Junction; Route 25 from Tzafit Junction to Arava Junction; and Route 40 from Ketura Junction to Tzihor Junction.
