Ein Jones spring, located in the Yarmouk Valley near Hamat Gader, will close in the coming days for safety work and structural reinforcement. The work is expected to continue until September. The Kinneret Authority and Israel Land Authority stated that "as part of the project, essential work will be carried out for structural and safety reinforcement of the spring structure to ensure the safety and security of bathers and create an improved and safe experience in the various pools. Over the years, parts of the building's walls have collapsed, leaving the structure in a precarious state and posing a safety hazard to the many visitors at the site."
