Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar eulogized David Federmann, one of the owners of Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team. He said that "David was a person with a generous heart, genuine passion for Israeli sports and deep faith in people and their path. For years he worked with dedication and humility and I had the honor to work with him on countless occasions." Zohar added: "There is no doubt that his influence is clearly evident in the achievements and values he brought to the Israeli sports world, which today lost a friend and a very dear person. May his memory be blessed."
