|
The Central Bureau of Statistics published data on disparities between Jews and Arabs in quality of life indicators in Israel for 2024. The data shows that out of 79 available indicators examined, Jews fared better in 55 of them, Arabs fared better in 19 and the rest showed equality. Among the quality of life indicators, some of which included sub-indicators, were the areas of employment quality, personal security, health, housing and infrastructure, education and more. In the area of employment quality, Jews' situation as of 2024 was better than Arabs' in most indicators. However, that same year saw an increase among Arabs in the rate of employed people whose position matches their field of study, and for the first time the rate among Arabs (76.4%) is higher than among Jews (72.5%).
