After committee deliberations conclude, the bill is expected to advance to second and third readings before officially entering the Knesset's law books. Five years ago, the law banning prostitution consumption was passed as a temporary provision set to expire this July. Discussions will be held in the coming months to bring the law to a third reading before the temporary provision expires.
