Macron: We Oppose Expanding IDF Operation in Gaza, Must Implement Two-State Solution

French President Emmanuel Macron issued a statement calling on Israel to cease its operations in Gaza, after France, along with Britain and other countries, released two similar declarations earlier. "We strongly oppose the expansion of Israel's military operations in Gaza," he wrote. "The level of human suffering is unbearable. Ahead of the June 18 conference in New York, we must all work toward implementing the two-state solution."
