Rezaei claimed that "the actions of the U.S. and Israel give us grounds to withdraw from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty," but noted that such a decision has not yet been made. He also threatened: "If we are attacked, we will strike American bases and Washington's interests in the region with much greater force."
