Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem issued an official statement addressing the war with Iran, as well as the possibility of U.S. joining the attacks. Qassem claimed that "U.S. President Donald Trump's threat to attack the Supreme Leader and Iran is aggression against all the peoples of the region and free people. The U.S. is leading the region to chaos and instability. Iran has the right to defend itself." Qassem further added that "Hezbollah stands with Iran and will act as we see fit against this cruel Israeli-American aggression."
