Ariel Sofer Maharaz from Kiryat Ata is the 13-year-old boy who was killed in a traffic accident on the Acre-Haifa road. His mother, Hofit, told Ynet that "what happened to him is incomprehensible, he went out to hang out with friends. And then they told me that a boy tried to chase after him, he ran onto the road because he was trying to escape from him, and then he was fatally struck by a car on the road. I can't digest that my little boy will never come back. Just this past March he celebrated his bar mitzvah and now to bury him like this is incomprehensible. Ariel was cheerful, kind-hearted, a charming boy who always helped and assisted."
