The 88-year-old man arrested on suspicion of drowning his 5-year-old son to death in 1974 is terminally ill and has served an 11-year prison sentence for murdering his wife. He arrived at the Eilat police station claiming he wanted to "clear his conscience" and confess to killing his son. He allegedly did so because his son "suffered from cerebral palsy and he felt sorry for him."
