Political system condemns recognition of Palestinian state: 'Starmer chose disgrace'

|
Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana addressed Britain's recognition of a Palestinian state and wrote in a post on X network that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is "a modern appeaser who chose disgrace." Chairman of the "Yashar!" party Gadi Eisenkot said about the decisions of Britain, Canada and Australia that "dealing with a Palestinian state at this time and after October 7 is folly and a reward for terrorism. This is the result of a resounding diplomatic failure of the government and Netanyahu." Blue and White chairman Benny Gantz said the decision "strengthens Hamas and prolongs the war."
