Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is expected to raise the purchase of F-35 jets during his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump during his visit to the United States. This was reported by The New York Times citing two sources. According to the report, bin Salman and Trump are expected to sign a defense pact similar to the one the U.S. signed with Qatar, and Saudi officials are interested in reaching an agreement that would allow access to American technology to help develop a civilian nuclear program in the country. Analysts told the newspaper that although President Trump has declared his intention to expand the Abraham Accords to include Saudi Arabia normalizing relations with Israel, bin Salman's priorities are different, and according to analysts, he believes that "establishing relations is a distant goal that will take years."
