Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at his office in Jerusalem with the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel, Sheikh Muafak Tarif, his office announced. Tarif also spoke with Netanyahu during the clashes between Bedouins and Druze in Syria at the beginning of the month and called on Israel to strike Syria to protect the Druze.
