According to him, this is only a preliminary examination stage and there is no certainty that the move will materialize. 'This is not a takeover move, this is a move to strengthen Israeli aviation,' Sirkis wrote. He added that merging the two brands would enable the establishment of a group with five wide-body aircraft and 15 more narrow-body aircraft under the Israeli flag, and would save on operational costs.
